Nick is a production designer and art director for film and television, and a set and costume designer for theatre.

Nick is currently Production Designer on Together directed by Michael Shanks for Picturestart/Tango. Prior to this, Nick was Art Director of George Miller’s new feature Mad Max: Furiosa. Nick was also Art Director on George Miller’s Three Thousand Years of Longing, Porchlight Films 6-part series Operation Buffalo (ABC), the US TV series Wrecked (seasons 2 and 3) and on the feature Peter Rabbit 2, the sequel to the international hit. Nick was the Production Designer on the feature film Nekrotronic, directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, and produced by Andrew Mason and Troy Lum and Production Designer on Abe Forsythe’s feature Down Under.  Other screen credits include Assistant Art Director on Pacific Rim: Maelstrom, Alien: Covenant, and The Dressmaker, and set designer on Hacksaw Ridge, San Andreas, Unbroken, and Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark

Nick has also had an extensive career in Theatre, designing Sets and sometimes Costumes for a number of works with director Craig Ilott, including: B-Girl (Lunar Hare); Smoke and Mirrors (Syd Festival) - nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Costume Design; The Pillowman (Set design only, Belvoir Street Theatre) – nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Set Design; Lovesong (Melbourne Theatre Company); and Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Showtune Productions).

Other theatre designs include The Emperor of Sydney, The Marvellous Boy and The Woman With Dog’s Eyes (Griffin Theatre Company); and Halpern and Johnson, Trying, They’re Playing Our Song, Losing Louis, Mary Stuart (Ensemble Theatre); and Honour Bound (Sydney Opera House).

As an Associate Designer on large-scale commercial works, Nick was involved for many years with the original Sydney and London productions of Priscilla: The Musical (Backrow Productions), and with Global Creatures for King Kong and How To Train Your Dragon.
